Briarcliff Nature Trail Phase IV

Thanks to PIAC money received from Kansas City, Phase 4 the Briarcliff Nature trail was lengthened more than 2,200 feet through the woods. This stretch of trail is accessed on 40th St and 37th St, connecting to the existing trail through the woods. This portion of the trail features numerous elevated bridges, winding pathways, and is mostly shaded with little change in elevation.  

Thank you to the Kansas City Parks and Recreation Department, Landscape Architect Richard Allen, Councilman Eric Bunch and Councilwoman Katheryn Shields and residents Tim Johnston and Jenny Johnston for constructing a plan to enhance the nature trail for everyone to enjoy!
