After a terrible life-changing accident, Hiro and Baymax team up with four other nerds to save their hometown from an evil super villain.

Despite the hot temperatures last Saturday, we still had a good crowd for Godzilla. Thanks to the topography of the seating area on a hill, guests are always welcomed with a cool breeze coming off the lake. This makes for a ideal, comfortable night to watch an outdoor movie, despite the heat from the afternoon hours. We hope to have another great turnout this week! Enjoy a FREE showing of "Godzilla" (2014) PG-13 at 8:45 p.m./dusk on Saturday, July 11 at Mulberry Lake across from The Village at Briarcliff. The world's most famous monster is pitted against wicked creatures called Massive Unidentified Terrestrial Organisms, who, bolstered by humanity's scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.

We are halfway through the summer outdoor movie series, and so far we have had great success! Our last movie, Despicable Me 2, brought in a record breaking crowd of more than 600 guests! We owe a huge thank you to Burleson Orthodontics for yet again providing delicious cotton candy and bottled water, KC Premier Martial Arts for providing popcorn, and Snowie KC for bringing their fun snow cone truck!

We are expecting a perfect evening this Saturday with a cool breeze right by the lake. It should be a perfect night to watch a remake of a classic monster film at night under the stars. Don't forget to bring blankets, lawn chairs and picnic dinners if you wish!

Meanwhile, his minions are quietly being kidnapped, and he finds himself falling in love with AVL agent, Lucy.

Enjoy a FREE showing of "Into the Woods" (2014) PG at 8:45 p.m./dusk on Saturday, June 13 at Mulberry Lake across from Briarcliff Village. This musical, with a star studded cast, follows the classic tales of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel. The story involves a baker and his wife, their wish to begin a family, and their interaction with the witch who has put a curse on them.

Mark your calendars! Celebrate Memorial Day on Monday, May 25 with an exclusive, live concert by the U.S. Air Force Band of Mid-America "Phoenix Brass" Ensemble. The performance will begin at 7 p.m. at Mulberry Lake across from The Village at Briarcliff. This unique group combines the sounds of brass, percussion and vocals and shares a variety of music from marches and classical masterpieces to Jazz and popular favorites with their audiences.
