Who are we? What do we do?
Briarcliff Trails of Our Community represents the nature, beauty and preservation of our community. Residents, businesses, clubs and organizations around Briarcliff are volunteering their time, money and resources to maintain the upkeep of the existing trails and landmarks in our community. Our efforts are further enhanced by the engagement of local businesses providing community events and educational programs, which keep our community thriving. These efforts began in 2009 and are growing stronger with more support.
Tim Johnston, a resident since 1986, co-founded Briarcliff Trails of Our Community with his daughter Jenny, which is a registered non-profit organization in Missouri. They secured more than $1,200,000 in neighborhood improvement projects and have picked up 580 bags of trash and 3,598 illegally posted signs from roadways entering the Briarcliff community since 2009. The vision is to keep Briarcliff and surrounding neighborhoods free of blight with usable trails and to support projects at our local school, Briarcliff Elementary.
