International Walk to School Day
Every fall Briarcliff Elementary students, staff and parents celebrate International Walk to School Day. Everyone meets at Briarcliff Village and walks up the parkway to the school. The students are joined by the North Kansas City High School marching band, cheer squad, color guard and residents of the Briarcliff Community. The event is designed to promote active, healthy lifestyles and the benefits of exercising.
Briarcliff Staff and PTA would like to recognize Latte Land for handing out free hot chocolate and the Kansas City Police Department North Patrol Division for their escort. They would also like to thank Briarcliff Village, GreenAcres Market, North Kansas City High School, Briarcliff Life Magazine and Reed Photography for their support of International Walk to School Day.
