Eagle Scout Fence Project
Thanks to Boy Scout Chase Folsom and Boy Scout Troop 271, the Briarcliff Elementary School vegetable garden received a new fence to keep the critters away. Chase, a resident of the community and previous student at Briarcliff Elementary decided to build the fence for his Eagle Scout project and used it as a way to give back to his community and old school. The project kicked off on September 10, 2011 with the help from family, friends, scouts and community members. The Boy Scouts also built three new boxes for the garden. Thank you to Van's Fence for donating their time with the labor, and Briarcliff PTA for their generous donations to cover the costs.
